Eligibility Criteria
Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
B.Sc. Nursing – Higher secondary school certificate examination or equivalent qualification (12th) from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCB).
Candidates from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government with science subjects and English are also eligible.
SC/ST or OBC candidates require a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in PCB.
English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
GNM: 10+2 with English and minimum 40% marks from a recognized board. Science is preferable.
10+2 with English and 40% marks in vocational ANM course from an INC-recognized school.
10+2 with English and 40% marks in vocational stream health care science from CBSE or state/central board recognized ANM.
Students shall be medically fit.
Admission of students shall be once in a year.
Reservation
- 3% disability reservation for candidates with locomotor disability of 40% to 50%.
- Eligibility criteria regarding age and qualification remain the same for all candidates.
- A medical board consisting of a state government-authorized medical officer and a nursing expert will assess disability levels.
- 5% relaxation in total marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Other reservations apply as per state government regulations.
- Reservation shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of seats by INC.
Entrance Test
- Selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the college authority.
